FBLA NLC in Anaheim, CA This Year

The FBLA National Leadership Conference is being held in Anaheim, California this year from June 29th to July 2nd. The 2017 National Leadership Conference (NLC) will draw thousands of future business leaders to Anaheim, California as we celebrate FBLA-PBL's 75th anniversary! Members come to test their knowledge and skills through competitive events, share successes, and learn new ideas about shaping their careers through workshops and exhibits. This four-day conference is considered the pinnacle of the FBLA-PBL experience, especially for those running for national office. Members also have the opportunity to attend the Institute for Leaders (IFL). This high-energy, intensive, two-day seminar is a focused, leadership experience for state and local chapter officers, members, and advisers.

Why I Love FBLA

Even though I have only participated in my high school FBLA chapter since tenth grade, it has given me so many opportunities to make new friends, learn about business, and explore new opportunities. While in FBLA, I have gone to several leadership conferences and competed in various competitive events. I have also completed the Future, Business, and Leader BAA Awards and I'm currently working on the America BAA Award. Now acting as Chapter Vice-President, I have led the membership committee and entrepreneurship committee.
